Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I who will be responsible for general plant and building maintenance. This includes tasks such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry work, as well as general machine repair involving electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components. The role requires a general understanding of the operation and maintenance of machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general plant and building maintenance.

+ Conduct electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry work.

+ Repair machines, focusing on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.

+ Ensure proper operation and maintenance of machines and equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong knowledge of process improvement methods using statistical techniques

+ Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications

+ Experience with tooling and gauging using dimensional tools like calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, gauges, and CMM machines

+ Excellent mathematics, computer, and communication skills

+ ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 experience

+ Experience with Pre-Production Approval Process (PPAP)

+ Failure Mode Effects Analysis (Black Belt or Green Belt preferred)

+ Ability to establish Product Control Plans and Inspection protocols

+ Leadership skills

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

+ 5+ years of experience in a QA discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience in a job shop environment

Work Environment

Work in an industrial metal shop setting on the 1st shift from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM in Ossining, NY. You will be part of a dedicated Quality Team of 9 members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
