    Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description

     

    As a General Laborer, you will be working within the pipe room setting cages, applying indicators such as pipe size and batch number, using a blow torch inside pipes, and cleaning and oiling molds. Proficiency with a tape measure, hand tools, and power tools is essential. While experience with an overhead crane would be advantageous, it is not required.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up cages and apply necessary indicators like pipe size and batch number.

    + Use a blow torch for specific tasks inside pipes.

    + Clean and oil molds to ensure smooth production processes.

    + Work comfortably with concrete and various tools.

    + Follow instructions accurately and complete tasks efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in general labor and assembly.

    + Ability to read and use a tape measure proficiently.

    + Familiarity with hand and power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in construction trades, assembly, or landscaping.

    + Possession of at least 2 years of consistent job experience.

    + Knowledge of blueprints, carpentry, and forklift operation is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The position is set in an outdoor, warehouse, and production environment. Please note that the warehouse is not climate-controlled, so you will be working in various weather conditions. It is a physically demanding and dirty environment due to the nature of working with concrete.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fayetteville, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
