    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setup Operator to expertly set up and operate press brakes, including Cincinnati models. This role involves working with sheet metal of varying thicknesses, from 20 gauge to 3/8 inch. The operator will interpret and work directly from blueprints and GD&T practices, handling a mix of long-run and short-run jobs daily. A key aspect of the role includes understanding tolerances of +/-1 degree and assisting with preventative maintenance for all fabrication equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate press brakes, including Cincinnati models.

    + Work with sheet metal thicknesses ranging from 20 gauge to 3/8 inch.

    + Interpret and work directly from blueprints and GD&T practices.

    + Handle a mix of long-run and short-run jobs daily.

    + Ensure understanding and application of tolerances of +/-1 degree.

    + Assist with preventative maintenance for fabrication equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in Press Brake Setup.

    + Proficiency with GD&T and blueprint reading.

    + Experience in precision sheet metal fabrication.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Preferred knowledge in car type mechanics.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs.

    + Solid references based on attendance record.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Bear Lake, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
