    Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description

     

    As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in maintaining the organization of inventory and conducting cycle counts. You will be responsible for issuing materials from the stockroom, preparing kits for special projects, and accurately picking, counting, and labeling parts for production operations. Your role will also involve documenting shortage information and entering data into SAP, as well as auditing and re-shelving returned kits. Adherence to materials handling and ESD control procedures is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain inventory store organization and perform cycle counts.

    + Issue materials from the stock room and prepare special project kits (e.g., PCP, Sales Orders, ECN, NCR, RMA).

    + Accurately pick, count, and label parts for production operations according to pick lists.

    + Document shortage information and enter data into SAP.

    + Audit and re-shelve returned kits.

    + Follow materials handling and ESD control procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Shipping and receiving experience.

    + Strong inventory management skills.

    + Proficiency in computer skills, especially Windows.

    + Material handling expertise.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.

    + Highly organized and detail-oriented.

    + Experience with Oracle 11i is a plus.

    + Previous electronic manufacturing experience is beneficial.

    + Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

    Work Environment

    You will work indoors in a clean and climate-controlled environment, closely collaborating with a team of 4-5 colleagues. The dress code is casual, allowing for comfort with jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes.

    This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
