    Job Title: Piping DesignerJob Description

     

    The piping designer will be responsible for creating detailed designs and layouts for piping systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Design basic equipment layouts and piping routings using CAD, ensuring they are consistent with codes, standards, and client requirements.

    + Coordinate the work of other lead designers assigned to the task.

    + Ensure discipline leads have the correct project standards and checklists.

    + Maintain and update the overall 3D model as required.

    + Prepare engineering drawings and documentation.

    + Participate in meetings with clients as requested.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of piping design or piping engineering experience.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D.

    + Associate's Degree in Drafting or Design.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Revit.

    + Experience preparing orthographic drawings.

    + Navisworks experience.

    Work Environment

    This is a hybrid position consisting of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The typical in-office days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The position requires limited travel, with no more than a week on the road, ensuring you are home by the weekend. The work environment offers a small business setting, allowing for project progression without the bureaucracy of larger corporations.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $145600.00/yr.
