Maintenance Mechanic

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)

**Overtime:** Occasional Saturdays as needed

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced **Maintenance Mechanic** to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and carry out repairs to keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll work with metal components, operate industrial equipment, and ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair

+ Perform preventative maintenance (approx. 60% of the role)

+ Troubleshoot and repair equipment (approx. 40% of the role)

+ Safely execute thermal cutting and grinding processes

+ Fabricate, repair, or modify metal parts, including filling holes and resizing components

+ Operate power units, air units, welding equipment, and other production-related machinery

Operational Support

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and production orders

+ Maintain accurate inventory of materials in holding bins

+ Communicate with management regarding unexpected changes or repair needs

+ Complete daily production tasks while minimizing waste

+ Maintain radio communication with supervisors and assist plant operations as needed

Safety & Housekeeping

+ Follow all plant safety guidelines and perform safety-related duties as assigned

+ Keep work areas clean and organized

+ Wear required PPE and maintain compliance with all facility standards

Essential Skills & Experience

+ Strong knowledge of conveyor systems

+ Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment

+ Skills in welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics

+ Experience operating forklifts, industrial machinery, and heavy equipment

Preferred Qualifications

+ 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical)

+ Experience working with batch plants (a plus)

+ Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices

+ Excellent reading, writing, math, and logic skills

+ Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure

+ Self-starter with high attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude

+ Extensive knowledge of production processes and equipment

Work Environment

This role involves working in both indoor and outdoor areas and requires consistent use of PPE. You’ll be part of a team committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and productive facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dacono, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
