    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    The Assembler will support production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines by applying job skills and company policies to complete a variety of tasks. This role requires acquiring a working knowledge of product flow and understanding the impact of quality. The position involves routine assignments that require limited judgment and works within established policies and procedures. It also requires a working knowledge of production standards and goals, and may involve cross-training focus factory members as instructed.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and document instructions for specific jobs at the work station daily.

    + Perform in-house quality checks to ensure all parts are good, adhering to the 'see something, say something' policy.

    + Utilize basic hand tools such as flathead screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and Phillips screwdrivers.

    + Operate within established policies and procedures, seeking approval for deviations.

    + Assist in cross-training focus factory members as instructed.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.

    + Proficiency in assembly using basic hand and power tools.

    + Ability to read and write for documentation purposes.

    + Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly.

    + Familiarity with blueprint and schematic reading.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanically inclined individuals from manufacturing backgrounds are preferred.

    + Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift.

    + Capability to frequently reach at waist level and occasionally above the head.

    + Ability to carry up to 10lbs and lift up to 45lbs.

    + Competence in frequently pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and stooping.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
