Job Title: Packager - $17/HOUR

Job Description

We are seeking diligent individuals to join our team as Packagers in a refrigerated environment, handling fresh fruit and produce items. This role requires the use of full personal protective equipment (PPE), including cut-resistant gloves, gowns, and eyewear. All necessary equipment will be provided and maintained to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

+ Work on an assembly line in a refrigerated environment.

+ Remove stems from grapes, peel apples, and perform similar tasks.

+ Operate small knives to cut products to fit into desired packaging.

+ Ensure proper packing and labeling of produce.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to perform general labor and packing tasks.

+ Basic understanding of production and assembly line operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Food production experience preferred but not required.

+ Experience in any production environment or similar setting is a plus.

+ Entry-level position; no previous skills or experience necessary.

Work Environment

The work environment is refrigerated, wet, and cool, with occasional standing water. Employees must wear full PPE, which includes cut-resistant gloves, gowns, and eyewear. The facility ensures that all equipment is washed and cleaned daily.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Inver Grove Heights, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
