Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling units by following instructions from the group leader and using provided drawings. You will work across multiple stations, utilizing hand and power tools to complete tasks safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

+ Read and follow dimensional drawings.

+ Use tools such as impact guns, pliers, and wrenches.

+ Rotate between different workstations.

+ Assemble casings, frames, and A-coils.

+ Route wiring and connect sub-assemblies.

+ Identify and report defective parts.

+ Record completed tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in assembly tasks.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.

+ Knowledge of brazing and welding techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Flexibility and adaptability to change.

+ Team-oriented with a willingness to learn.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.

+ Excellent attendance and attitude.

+ Commitment to using all assigned personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment

Work in a large plant environment that is not temperature controlled. Be prepared to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs (non-repetitive), and stoop as needed. Opportunities are available on the 2nd shift (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.) and 3rd shift (11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.), Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.53 - $27.14/hr.
