    LPN – Cardiovascular Clinic

    Position Overview

    BJC/Saint Luke’s Health Cardiovascular Clinic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. This full-time, day-shift position focuses on delivering high-quality professional nursing care within an outpatient cardiovascular setting.

    Requirements

    + **Licensure:** Active LPN license in both Missouri and Kansas (or multistage/compact equivalent).

    + **Certification:** Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    + **Skills:** Strong professional demeanor, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.

    Key Responsibilities

    + **Patient Care:** Perform clinical screenings for walk-in patients and manage telephone screenings using established protocols.

    + **Clinical Procedures:** Assist with biopsies, wound care, dressing changes, suctioning, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, and diabetic nail care.

    + **Patient Education:** Provide essential instruction on medications and injection techniques.

    + **Team Leadership:** Delegate tasks to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) based on competency and scope of practice; provide coverage for Medical Assistant duties as required.

    + **Compliance:** Maintain clinic standards and practices to ensure superior patient outcomes.

    Job Requirements

    Applicable Experience:

    Less than 1 year

     

    Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

     

    Associate Degree
