Job Description
BJC HealthCare and Saint Luke’s Health System are hiring a **Clinical Pharmacist (Internal Medicine)** to join our integrated team.
Position Overview
+ **Schedule:** Primary shift is **Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM** .
+ **Flexibility Required:** Occasional evening shifts (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM or 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM) and 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
+ **Weekends:** Rotating coverage across all staff members.
Core Responsibilities
+ **Clinical Management:** Design and monitor patient-specific therapeutic regimens to ensure optimal, cost-effective outcomes.
+ **Verification:** Interpret and verify medication orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
+ **Consultation:** Provide PK/PD consultations and expert drug information to the healthcare team, patients, and families.
+ **Collaboration:** Partner with prescribers on medication adjustments and document interventions in the EMR.
+ **Safety & Quality:** Manage ADR reporting and medication errors while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
+ **Leadership:** Supervise support staff and lead departmental projects.
Required Qualifications
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (required).
+ **Licensure:** Active Pharmacist licenses in both **Kansas** and **Missouri** .
+ **Certifications:**
+ Missouri Medication Therapy Services (MTS) Certification.
+ American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
