    Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline

+ **8+ years of experience with the following:**

+ Product development of electromechanical and/or power electronics-based systems

+ Residential power management, circuit protection, energy storage, microgrids, or connected home/IoT devices

+ Cross-disciplinary engineering collaboration (mechanical, electrical, and software)

+ Defining and managing technical requirements for complex systems

+ Leading engineering projects or teams in regulated environments

+ Occasional domestic travel may be required

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

    Preferred Qualifications:

+ Prior people management experience, or demonstrated leadership of complex engineering programs or project teams

+ Experience working with embedded systems, control software, or communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus, or similar)

+ Familiarity with residential energy, utility infrastructure, EV charging, inverter-based systems, or transfer switch–like technologies

+ Background in customer-facing engineering roles, including technical discovery, partner integration, or solution definition
