Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to manage our end-to-end accounts payable process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in invoice processing, corporate credit card management, and travel and expense compliance. This role requires collaboration across departments to ensure timely payments and vendor relations.
Responsibilities
+ Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including timely and accurate invoice processing.
+ Collaborate with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Receiving to streamline operations.
+ Identify and document root causes of payment delays and errors, implementing corrective actions as needed.
+ Maintain positive relationships with vendors and seek process improvements and system enhancements.
+ Enforce corporate credit card policy, manage setup, fraud monitoring, and oversee monthly statement reviews.
+ Enforce travel and expense policy, facilitate approvals, and manage payment processes.
+ Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
+ Assist with external financial statement audits and ensure compliance with tax laws, including 1099 filings.
Essential Skills
+ At least 3 years of experience in the end-to-end accounts payable process.
+ Proven experience in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.
+ Ability to process at least 250 invoices per week.
+ Strong data entry and Microsoft Excel skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proven organizational and time management abilities.

+ Flexibility with scheduling and ability to work overtime as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Everett, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
