We are seeking an experienced contractual After-Sales Project Manager to lead initiatives focused on resolving identified quality risks impacting our customers. This critical role is essential for restoring customer confidence and ensuring timely corrective actions. The ideal candidate is a senior professional with strong project management skills, exceptional customer-facing experience, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams under pressure.
Responsibilities
+ Take ownership of quality issues already identified, driving resolution plans with different customers.
+ Serve as the primary contact for affected customers, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout the process.
+ Align with internal teams (Operations, Supply Chain, technical support, quality, and sales) to implement the corrective measures quickly and effectively.
+ Assess ongoing risks, prioritize actions, and escalate where necessary to protect customer relationships and company reputation.
+ Deliver structured updates to senior management and customers, including timelines, risks, and next steps.
+ Ensure all actions are documented for traceability and compliance with internal and external standards.
+ Prepare a clear handover plan for permanent teams once issues are resolved.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 7–10 years of experience in project management, with a strong track record in after-sales or quality situations.
+ Skilled in managing sensitive customer situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
+ Familiarity with manufacturing processes, product quality standards, and risk management tools.
+ Ability to analyze data to understand status and prioritize actions.
+ Ability to deliver clear, concise updates to both customers and internal stakeholders.
+ Comfortable working under pressure and making decisions in complex, time-sensitive environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred, not mandatory).
+ Experience in quality issues resolution.
+ Strong leadership and influencing skills across multiple departments.
+ Knowledge of quality methodologies is a plus (FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis).
+ Ability to operate in an international, multicultural environment.
Work Environment
The position requires working in-office with up to 30% travel locally, including visits to sites in the USA and a few in Canada. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration across various departments and adherence to high-quality standards.

This is a Contract position based out of North Canton, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.
