    Position Summary

    The Reimbursement Analyst supports the revenue cycle team by resolving billing inquiries and collecting patient, clinic, and insurance payments. This role manages billing records, submits clean insurance claims, posts payments, follows up on outstanding balances, and responds to customer billing inquiries.

     

    Pay: $35-45/hr

     

    100% onsite M-F

    Key Responsibilities

    Billing & Collections

    + Support past-due patient and client collections and maintain accurate billing records

    Customer Service

    + Resolve billing inquiries via phone and electronic channels and support Client Services with patient-related questions

    Payment Posting

    + Post payments, denials, and correspondence from all sources and reconcile daily payments with banking records

    Accounts Receivable Management

    + Follow up on denied or unpaid insurance claims, resolve claim errors to ensure clean submissions, and research eligibility rejections by confirming patient coverage

    Qualifications

    + Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations

    + Strong knowledge of medical billing practices, including CPT, ICD-10, EOBs, CMS-1500, and client-style billing, with a clear understanding of in-network vs. out-of-network claims

    + Experience working with insurance payers, including requirements, guidelines, appeals, and patient financial responsibility (copays, deductibles, coinsurance)

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across departments and communicate with patients, clinics, and internal teams

    + Proficiency in MS Word, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA, SOX, and related regulations
