The Global Channel Partner Sales (GCPS) organization delivers SME&C growth and market share across AI Business Solutions, Cloud & AI Platforms, and Security by capturing total addressable market (TAM) and accelerating cloud growth at scale through our Channel Sales partners. Our approach is grounded in Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) acceleration, co-sell execution, and performance accountability. We deliver our revenue and growth commitments by aligning execution with measurable impact, fostering partner transformation, and enabling scalable, outcome-driven growth through partners.
As the Director - Business Management Global Channel Partner Sales, you will partner closely with the GCPS Leadership Team along with other leaders within the broader organization. You will have the opportunity to drive and influence the partner ecosystem transformation through near-term and long-term business planning while deeply collaborating with many teams on the business insights, operations, and processes to deliver on these future growth opportunities.
Bringing broad and deep business acumen, sound decision-making and operational excellence to bear is essential in this role. Responsibilities
Business Operations
+ Translates high-level strategic plans into concrete executional strategies - with involvement in organizational planning and design.
+ Drives the architecture, development, and execution of the rhythm of business (ROB) aligned to the scope and complexity of the business.
+ Drives business review cadence.
+ Leverages knowledge of the organizational strategy and planned deliverables for the upcoming year(s) to design complex budgets.
+ Works in partnership with Finance to approve budgets and develops forecasting plans in partnership with the leadership team. Tracks financial progress against budget and may manage complex budgets with significant negotiation.
+ Ensures spend remains within budget that the leader is aligned on the headcount and budget strategy.
+ Collaborates with internal stakeholders and teams to supervise the creation and implementation of execution plans. Leads and oversees processes to ensure alignment across groups. Clearly communicates plans and mutual commitments across stakeholders, reviews process execution and performance to ensure results align with business priorities and scorecards.

+ Leads the Business Management community across Global Channel Partner Sales.
+ Encourages a growth mindset environment, supports team building, networking opportunities, and works to uphold morale. Cultivates GCPS culture and mentors others across the Business Management team.
Maximizing / Extending the Leader
+ Supports the leader in setting key goals and budget/finance responsibilities.
+ Synthesizes insights and leverages expertise to influence the leader and leadership team.
+ Leverages relationships to influence and advise on strategic decisions, content, and/or expertise. Manages and builds relationships with leaders while using understanding of audience needs to ensure the optimal use of leaders' time.
+ Carries out reporting and exception management as required.
Organizational Health
+ Partners with Human Resources (HR), leader, and business management community on best ways to apply company guidance, accelerate progress related to culture and inclusion, define communications and action plans for the organization in response to employee signals.
+ Tracks the use of role-based compliance trainings and new trainings (e.g., security). Drives the training completion rates.
Special Projects, Programs, and Initiatives
+ Drives cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and to manage complex business needs.
+ Engages in project management or may act as a project/program manager to ensure organization-wide implementation of strategic efforts that require hands-on coordination across multiple functional disciplines and business organizations.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
+ Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 12+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 15+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.
Business Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
