Williams is hiring an experienced Mechanical Controls Installer to install, maintain, and repair mechanical control systems in new construction for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and/or low volt control disciplines and will be capable of working independently or as part of a team.

What You'll Do:
+ Installation & Maintenance: Execute the installation of control systems , including wiring, routine maintenance, and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
+ Troubleshooting & Compliance: Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, ensuring compliance with state and national electrical codes and industry standards.
+ Collaboration & Documentation: Work collaboratively with project teams to interpret construction documents, coordinate with other trades, and maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and modifications.
+ Safety & Quality Assurance: Adhere to strict safety protocols, conduct quality checks, and ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
What You Bring:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical or low volt work, with a focus on controls preferred.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, schematics, technical documents, and able to properly document events and changes through the project's life.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve control systems issues.
+ Experience with PLC programming and other control technologies is highly desirable.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
