    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse or storage facility. This role involves tracking inventory levels, processing inventory transactions, conducting periodic audits, and ensuring inventory accuracy to support efficient warehouse operations.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Monitor and maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods

    + Conduct regular physical inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy between physical stock and inventory records

    + Enter and update inventory data in the inventory management system promptly and accurately

    + Assist in investigations to resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records

    + Assist in picking, packing, and shipping orders as needed to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

    + Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards related to inventory control

    + Basic math skills for counting and reconciling inventory

    Problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + GED/High school diploma preferred

    + Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics/356, preferred

    + Must be able to lift 50 pounds

     

    The target hourly range is $18.50 - $22.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
