Pay Rate: Up to $75/hour

About the Role
Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Brockton, MA, seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) Diagnostician to join the Pre-K Diagnostic Team for the 2025–2026 school year.
This team evaluates students ages 3–5 for initial eligibility using Dr. Toni Linder’s Transdisciplinary Play Assessment tool. The role involves observing students and supporting play-based assessments rather than traditional cognitive evaluations.
Additional responsibilities include:
+ Conducting parent interviews (typically by phone) for background information
+ Supporting intervention blocks (6–8 weeks of RTI-style interventions)
+ Collaborating with the team to write combined evaluation reports and present findings
+ Assisting in IEP development for qualifying students
Requirements
+ CCC-SLP certification
+ Experience with early childhood assessments preferred
+ Strong collaboration and communication skills
+ Ability to work full-time, in-person

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
