    The AmergisEducational Services Team is currently seeking qualified Speech-LanguagePathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) forfull-time, in-person positions within schools across Sarasota County for the2025–2026 academic year.

    Position Details:

    Start Date: January 2026

     

    Compensation: SLPs: $70 per hour, SLPAs:$40–$43 per hour

     

    Schedule : Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours perweek

     

    Contract Length: Through the end of the2025–2026 school year

     

    High potential for renewal into the following schoolyear

    Requirements:

    Active Floridalicense (SLP-CCC or C-SLPA)

     

    Minimum of one yearof pediatric experience

     

    School-basedexperience preferred

    Strongcommunication, organizational, and independent work skills

    The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

    + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required by state/contract.

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
