    School Year: 2025–2026

     

    Start Date: Approximately two weeks after offer

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 3:30 PM

     

    Pay Rate: Up to $75/hour

     

    Position Type: Full-time, on-site

     

    About the Position

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is partnering with a school in Brockton, MA, to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) for a Diagnostician role on the Pre-K Diagnostic Team for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year.

     

    This team focuses on evaluating children ages 3–5 for initial eligibility using Dr. Toni Linder’s Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment approach. The position emphasizes observation and play-based assessments rather than traditional cognitive testing.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct parent interviews (typically by phone) to gather background information

    + Support intervention blocks (6–8 weeks of RTI-style interventions)

    + Collaborate with team members to write combined evaluation reports and present findings

    + Assist in developing IEPs for students who qualify

    Qualifications

    + Current CCC-SLP certification

    + Experience with early childhood assessments preferred

    + Strong communication and teamwork skills

    + Ability to work full-time, in-person
