    About the role

     

    As a React.js Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing and developing user-friendly web applications and reusable components that deliver exceptional user experiences.

     

    You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

    In this role, you will:

    Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and modern UI frameworks.

     

    Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

     

    Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code following best practices.

     

    Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into front-end applications.

     

    Create low-level design documents such as sequence diagrams, data maps, and schema designs.

     

    Build common frameworks and proof-of-concepts for UI, APIs, and middleware.

     

    Design application APIs and interfaces for seamless integration.

     

    Develop end-to-end code for critical modules and ensure quality through unit and integration testing.

     

    Follow coding standards and ensure compliance with secure coding practices and quality gates.

    Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days a week in a client office.

    What you need to have to be considered

    6+ years of experience in React.js development and full-stack proficiency.

     

    Strong expertise in React.js, REST API consumption, and Material UI.

     

    Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, and TypeScript.

     

    Experience with Next.js, Angular (versions 9–12), Vite.js, and object-oriented JavaScript.

     

    Knowledge of microservices architecture, caching, SSL, and UX frameworks.

     

    These will help you stand out

     

    Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

     

    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

     

    Experience in building secure, scalable applications with modern frameworks.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
