Our client is an innovator in aerospace developing perpetual flight systems. They seek a Software Engineer with a DevOps background to enable the Systems Engineering organization with tooling, integration, and infrastructure that supports full lifecycle engineering. The role impacts collaboration, visibility, and delivery through integrated platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint, and Siemens Polarion.
_Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
+ Design and support an integrated engineering management toolchain across the full lifecycle from system level to code.
+ Create, configure, and maintain collaboration spaces and processes for multiple specialties in JIRA and Confluence.
+ Design and implement dynamic linkages between MS Project and JIRA to provide real-time IMS visibility and status.
+ Support and manage a SharePoint site within the data infrastructure.
+ Support software development and continuous integration practices.
+ Manage and mature the toolchain as tasking and reporting requirements evolve.
+ Set up and manage libraries, document sets, and workflows across JIRA, JIRA Service Desk, Confluence, Siemens Polarion PLM, and Microsoft SharePoint products.
+ Develop and maintain company databases.
Experience Requirements:
+ 3+ years of experience in similar roles within automotive, aerospace, or fast-paced development environments.
+ Expert fluency administering JIRA and Confluence.
+ Experience as an administrator for Siemens Polarion PLM.
+ Programming capability with C++, SQL, Java, VBA, and Python.
+ At least 2 years of experience with software continuous integration and delivery.
+ Experience with process-oriented concepts and data organization.
+ Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
+ Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile concepts preferred.
+ CI experience on GitLab CI or Jenkins preferred.
+ Software configuration management process knowledge preferred.
+ Experience with MS Access, Ansys, Apache Velocity, 3DX, or TeamCenter preferred.
Education Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software Development, or a related field.

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
