    This position works a Weekend Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

    BAE Systems is seeking an inspection supervisor to support microelectronics module manufacturing at our site in Nashua, NH. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

    + Provide leadership to a team of weekend shift inspectors that will report directly to you.

    + Provide quality control support to the microelectronics module manufacturing value stream, with a focus on the inspection operations.

    + Utilize quality control data to help drive innovative improvements that will reduce cost and increase efficiency without compromising product integrity.

    + Reinforce compliance to the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) by supporting audits and continuous improvement efforts.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree

    + Experience leading manufacturing teams who are working towards common goals in a production evironment.

    + Ability to provide effective written and oral communications to cross-functional teams

    + Experience with Quality Management Systems

    + Proficiency with MS office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and a desire to learn new systems

    + Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, ethical principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Experience supporting production quality control (QC) teams within an electronics manufacturing environment certified to AS9100

    + Previous role in a Quality function governed by military and aerospace standards

    + Ability to apply, interpret and/or advise teams on quality, process documentation and workmanship requirements for product realization and inspection of components, assemblies and subassemblies.

    + Ability to utilize various inspection tools such as Vernier s, microscopes, gauges, etc.

    + Familiarity with Quality Management Systems activities including auditing and continuous improvement

    + Identification, control and disposition of discrepant material with an understanding of Preliminary Material Review/Material Review Board (PMR/MRB)

    + Familiarity with First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.

    + Working Knowledge and understanding of military electronics standards like IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, or MIL-PRF-38534

    + Experience supporting manufacturing in cleanroom, ESD and/or FOD controlled areas

    + Experience with non-conformance identification, control and evaluation

    + Familiarity with government contractor labor tracking using systems like Autotime

    + Ability to read and interpret technical data packages including engineering drawings, Bill of Materials, and component specifications.

    + Ability to extract data for visual presentations (using charts, tables, paretos, etc) to effectively communicate positions, issues, solutions or to drive actions.

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
