Job Description
For $80/hr, the Trade Surveillance Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing a high volume of market surveillance alerts, typically 40 to 50 per day, generated by a dedicated platform. Each analyst manages their own alert queue, prioritizing and investigating potential issues by examining market data and identifying patterns across financial products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, forwards, and swaps. The role is functional rather than technical, requiring strong diligence, curiosity, and a keen eye for anomalies or recurring issues. Analysts are expected to propose improvements when surveillance models underperform and contribute to quality assurance by ensuring no critical signals are overlooked.
