    Job Description

    An employer is seeking an Angular Developer to join their energy management team and work on a critical web application used for managing interconnection requests for renewable energy projects. This role involves developing and maintaining a form-based workflow tool that serves both internal and external users in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have strong Angular expertise, Java API development skills, and database experience to support this mission-critical application. He or she will be responsible for the design and implementation new features for the Rio web application using Angular framework. This will include - develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java to support frontend functionality, create and optimize database queries and procedures in Oracle for data management, build form-based workflow components for interconnection request processing, implement validation logic for energy generator studies and commissioning phases and maintain and enhance existing codebase while ensuring code quality and performance. He or she will be required to collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and must be able to participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. This role is fully remote if outside of the Austin, TX area and the hourly rate for this role ranges from $70 - $80/hr depending on experience and feedback from the client.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ years of hands-on experience with Angular framework development, ideally most recent version, and with NGRX and RXJS

     

    Demonstrated experience developing RESTful APIs using Java and Typescript

     

    Hands on experience working with Oracle database systems and ability to write SQL queries

     

    Strong ability to write clean, maintainable code from scratch

     

    Proven experience with form-based web application development Experience with workflow management systems and business process automation

     

    Utilities background or power systems knowledge
