    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Operator to join our growing infrastructure team. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on data center experience, particularly on the facility and operations side, who are looking to grow into a senior-level role. You will support daily data center operations across multiple buildings, ensuring operational readiness, organization, cleanliness, and cross-team support within a 24/7 environment.

     

    This position offers a clear growth path into a Senior Data Center Operator role through hands-on experience, coaching, and exposure to large-scale data center projects.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Hands-on experience with computer hardware installation and basic desktop/service desk troubleshooting.

    • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

    • Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment (assigned 8-hour shifts with potential swing or off-hours coverage during ramp-up).

    • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and independently execute weekly and monthly operational assignments.

    • Willingness to work in active data center environments involving walking, standing, and variable temperatures. • Prior experience supporting or working on a senior data center team.

    • Facility-side data center experience preferred; networking knowledge is a plus but not the primary focus.

    • Familiarity with 5S methodology, operational audits, or inventory organization.

    • Experience supporting multiple buildings or large-scale deployments (D2D environments).
