Summary:
This role will be responsible for program management within the Governance pillar of Meta’s Regulatory Compliance Program Organization. This role will support strategic design and operational execution of large, company-wide governance initiatives. The scope of the team is to build sustainable defensible governance practices for Meta’s Privacy and Security programs. In this role, you will be accountable for building and operating governance and oversight functions in order to ensure Meta is meeting its regulatory priorities (including FTC Order requirements), while facilitating protection of users through Meta’s products and processes. You will thrive in an ambiguous, cross-functional environment where they can understand different perspectives and provide discussion frameworks to enable trade-offs and decisions. You will support informed decision-making for Privacy and Security leadership teams.The role requires an aptitude for working cross functionally with technical and product stakeholders, and the experience to review and understand technical features in order to educate and socialize with impacted parties.

Program Manager, Program Governance Responsibilities:
1. Design and operate governance and reporting requirements for Meta’s Privacy Program, and Security GRC Programs
2. Facilitate governance forums designed to oversee and drive strategic decision making for Privacy and Security GRC programs
3. Recommend and draft Privacy program oversight and adjustment reporting for external assessment under Meta’s FTC Consent Order, including leadership socialization of recommendations and 2nd line of defense reviews
4. Work with legal, privacy and product leadership (including Meta Executives) teams to ensure the cross-company work on regulatory priorities is planned, implemented and executed in an efficient & effective manner
5. Prepare communication materials and progress tracking for multiple audiences including supporting material for Meta executives and its Board of Directors
6. Lead strategic conversations with external auditors and internal leadership team
7. Advise on industry standards related to external assessments and audits
8. Create mechanisms for identifying and monitoring updates, milestones and roadblocks on privacy work and ensuring leadership is aware of status and progress
9. Drive greater consistency of Governance process, practices, and execution across company-wide privacy, security, integrity and AI workstreams
10. Champion the overall implementation plan related to Meta’s FTC Consent order (and similar Privacy directives, both current and future) including understanding order requirements and associated technical and operational work required across the company to comply successfully
11. Project manage and prioritize work based on urgency and complexity while building operational cadences across technical and operational teams to coordinate work
12. Set priorities, multi-task and work with autonomy in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace

13. 5+ years of work experience in risk and compliance, legal, consulting, business operations or other operational disciplines
14. 4+ years of experience working in regulatory domains like privacy, integrity or security OR in a role associated with data protection, regulatory response, audit and implementation of control frameworks
15. 3+ years of work experience in program or project management
16. Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

18. Advanced degree and/or certification
19. Experience working in information security and/or cybersecurity
20. Experience running project management or program management initiatives (for example, organization-wide initiatives)
21. Experience communicating with technical and business stakeholders
22. Experience communicating with leadership teams including Board level formal reporting
23. Communications experience with simplifying concepts and developing outputs
24. Analytical and problem solving skills
Public Compensation:
$122,000/year to $180,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
