FINANCIAL REPORTING ANALYST
NEW ERP/GL INTEGRATION ROLE
Client: University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS)
Position: Financial Reporting Analyst
Openings: 1
Duration: Permanent
Pay Range: $95,000 – $100,000 (can send at $105,000)
Shift: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Interview Process:
• Round 1: Teams interview with Director and Manager
• Round 2: Panel with 3 primary GL team members
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
UMMS is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst who will own and manage all General Ledger (GL) integrations from supporting systems, including:
• Bank statements
• Payroll
• EPIC Hospital & Physician Billing
• Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) tools
Key responsibilities include:
• Own and manage GL integrations for bank statements, payroll, EPIC billing, and revenue cycle analytics tools, including maintenance, posting, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate across teams (Payroll, Cash Management, RCA, Epic PB) to resolve integration issues and support billing-related projects.
• Document and maintain financial reporting and ERP processes, including policies, procedures, risk/control matrices, and flowcharts; ensure routine updates for accuracy and compliance.
• Act as ERP “Super User” for new business operations checklists and integrated workflows; support ERP administration and serve as backup for ERP team.
• Participate in special projects involving financial reporting and ERP systems, ensuring structured planning, change management, and communication.
• Provide audit support by maintaining records and delivering documentation for internal/external audits.
• Develop testing plans and validation tools for financial systems; compile and analyze data for routine and ad hoc reporting.
Ensure readiness for new company/business launches and compliance with GAAP and UMMS policies.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of professional accounting or auditing experience
• Financial reporting systems support experience (accounting + technical)
• Experience with conversions and integrations
• Strong documentation skills
Project management experience (SmartSheet or Excel-based tools preferred) Plusses:
• Experience with financial systems and reporting structures
• ERP administration knowledge
• Exposure to enterprise planning modules
Hands-on experience with cash management, workforce systems, RCA, and Epic
