    Job Description

    Insight Global client is seeking a skilled and experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer specializing in Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain secure authentication and authorization services across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IAM and at least three years of hands-on experience with Ping Identity products, ensuring seamless and efficient access management. This is a hands-on operational position that involves designing and architecting authentication solutions, integrating applications using industry standards, ensuring compliance with security best practices, troubleshooting complex issues, and creating detailed technical documentation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead major technology assignments, and provide senior-level support for authentication services leveraging PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and related technologies. Compensation is $79-86 an hour based on experience.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    3+ years managing and supporting Authentication Services systems with PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingDirectory.

     

    5+ years hands-on experience integrating applications using SAML, OIDC, OAuth, MFA, and FIDO2.

     

    Strong expertise in policy creation and implementation, including policy fragments.

     

    Advanced troubleshooting skills for authentication failures, token management, and MFA/FIDO2 integrations. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent enterprise-level experience).

     

    Experience with documentation tools such as Jira, Horizon, or Confluence.

     

    Familiarity with security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments.

     

    Ability to identify and implement process improvements for IAM solutions.

     

    Experience collaborating with cross-domain Identity and Authentication Services teams.
