• ServiceNow Project Manager, Inventory

    Job Description

    For $86/hr, this role will own the end‑to‑end design and execution of an enterprise inventory management capability for the firm, with ServiceNow serving as the system of record. The Technical Project Manager will establish inventory standards and governance in an environment with limited existing documentation, partnering closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to define what should be tracked, how data is collected, and how accuracy is maintained at scale. Responsibilities include standardizing inventory prompts and data fields, driving ingestion and normalization of host‑level and software inventory into the ServiceNow database, and ensuring clear traceability between infrastructure components, the software running on them, and the business applications they support. A key near‑term focus will be achieving readiness for software control requirements by June 30, including visibility into SBOMs, comprehensive lists of software deployed on hosts, and auditable linkages between compute resources and higher‑level business systems.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 7+ years of experience in a technical project or program management role, with a demonstrated track record delivering enterprise‑scale initiatives

     

    - Hands-on experience managing enterprise inventory within a service management platform (ServiceNow strongly preferred)

     

    - Proven experience leading inventory management programs, including definition of standards, data models, and workflows

     

    - Familiarity with software asset management (SAM), CMDB design, or infrastructure inventory at scale

     

    Experience in asset management or finance - Working knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases

     

    - Understanding of Windows and Linux environments
