Job Description

For $81/hr, in this role, you’ll lead efforts to transform fragmented infrastructure and application data into a clean, authoritative inventory that supports governance and operational transparency. Starting at a strategic level, you’ll design and maintain CMDB structures that accurately represent applications, hosts, and their relationships, ensuring alignment with CSDM standards. You’ll configure and optimize IntegrationHub workflows for automated ingestion, deploy Service Graph Connectors to onboard external datasets, and validate Discovery patterns and MID Servers to populate accurate CI data. As you move deeper into execution, you’ll develop and refine Transform Maps, Import Sets, and scripted transforms to handle bulk and delta data loads, while implementing dashboards and reporting to monitor inventory health and reconciliation success. On a granular level, you’ll build automation scripts to enforce data quality, troubleshoot performance issues, and collaborate with PMs and application teams to onboard apps and clarify requirements. Ultimately, your work will deliver trusted software controls, host-to-application mapping, and full integration with SDLC processes to ensure every component is tagged and traceable within the inventory.

Skills and Requirements

• 3–5 years minimum experience

• Strong ServiceNow development skills (JavaScript, Glide API)

• Deep hands-on experience with CMDB, Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), and CSDM

• Ability to design and maintain CMDB classes, relationships, and reconciliation logic

• Experience with IntegrationHub (custom spokes, REST integrations)

• Familiarity with Service Graph Connectors and troubleshooting imports

• Understanding of application modeling and discovery limitations

• Strong security best practices

• Data-analysis mindset: deduplication, normalization, error resolution

Financial industry experience (commodities, equities) • Kubernetes and SDLC integration experience

• Ability to build dashboards and data-quality reporting for CMDB health

• Experience with automation scripts and workflows for CMDB governance

Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and escalate appropriately
