    Job Description

    A client in the defense industry is looking for someone to join their team as an Assembler! This person will be responsible for reading and understanding drawings and schematics. They will be responsible for material handling, inspections and assembly under a microscope working with small, fragile parts to build intensifier tube components. They will process the components through various assigned assembly operations, handling fragile electronic components.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Assembler B: HS Diploma & 4 years of experience OR A.A. & 0-2 years of experience

    • Assembler C: HS Diploma & 6 years of experience OR A.A. & 2 years of experience

    • Assembler D: HS Diploma & 8 years of experience OR A.A. & 4 years of experience

    • Experience with electro-mechanical assembly

    • Experience reading and understand drawings and schematics

    • Experience working under a microscope and with small tools

     

    Able to use computers and MS Word and office proficiently · IPC - Soldering exp

     

    Fiber Optic experience or knowledge
