About CTL dba Ceres Forestry – A Ceres Global Company

CTL (Cut-to-Length), doing business as Ceres Forestry, is building a nationally scalable forestry platform aligned to the evolving needs of the U.S. federal government and large public-sector clients. Backed by Ceres Global’s nearly 50-year history delivering complex, mission-critical infrastructure and environmental services, Ceres Forestry is positioned to support large-scale, multi-region forestry, restoration, and fuel-reduction programs.

Our strategy is to scale Ceres Forestry into a national operating capability, leveraging trusted logging partners, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making to meet growing federal demand. As government agencies increasingly seek coordinated, nationwide solutions, Ceres Forestry is focused on delivering consistent execution, measurable outcomes, and long-term value across regions.

This platform supports post-fire hazard mitigation, wildfire fuel reduction, logging operations, and natural resource restoration while aligning operational excellence with federal priorities, funding mechanisms, and long-range environmental objectives.

With $2 billion in bonded project capacity and nearly 50 years of experience, Ceres Global serves clients worldwide through specialized units in disaster recovery, electrical infrastructure, power generation, heavy civil construction, environmental restoration, and materials recovery. These units operate as one cohesive force, combining local insight, shared resources, and global expertise to create lasting impact.

    What You Will Do

+ Lead forestry strategy and advanced analytics to support national growth, project selection, pricing, feasibility analysis, and long-term scaling of Ceres Forestry.

+ Learn, evaluate, and integrate automated forestry and field data collection technologies into business operations, analytics workflows, and decision-support systems.

+ Partner closely with India-based data scientists to manage, structure, analyze, and operationalize forestry data, enabling improved execution and future business opportunities.

+ Support business development and federal pursuits, providing analytical input for proposals, pricing strategies, and large-scale program opportunities.

+ Work directly alongside executive leadership, operational leaders, and external business partners to shape growth strategy and national capability development.

+ Represent Ceres Forestry in regional forestry meetings, industry forums, and federal stakeholder engagements, including meetings with agencies such as the U.S. Department of the Interior in Washington, DC.

+ Develop repeatable analytical frameworks, dashboards, and tools that enable consistent, scalable decision-making across regions and projects.

+ Ensure analytics and strategy are grounded in real-world forestry operations by collaborating closely with field teams and partners.

+ Serve as a trusted internal advisor on forestry analytics, economics, technology enablement, and strategic planning.

+ Contribute to building a data-driven culture that supports federal alignment, operational excellence, and long-term national growth.

Success in This Role Will Be Measured By

+ Clear, data-driven recommendations that influence executive decision-making on national forestry strategy, federal pursuits, and market expansion.

+ Increased alignment between forestry analytics, operational execution, and federal program requirements.

+ Credible representation of Ceres Forestry in regional, industry, and federal stakeholder engagements, strengthening relationships and market positioning.

+ Establishment of a disciplined, repeatable approach to organizing forestry data that supports long-term national capability and resilience.

+ Demonstrated readiness of forestry analytics, data governance, and reporting capabilities to meet federal program, audit, compliance, and transparency expectations.

+ Advanced experience with GIS and spatial analysis tools (e.g., ArcGIS Pro or equivalent) and applying spatial data to operational, financial, or strategic decision-making.

+ Strong understanding of forestry operations, cost structures, productivity drivers, and execution risk across logging, fuel reduction, restoration, or post-fire environments.

+ Proven experience using data and analytics to influence business decisions, including project selection, pricing, feasibility, or investment prioritization.

+ Experience supporting or partnering on business development efforts, including proposals, pursuits, pricing strategies, or market expansion initiatives.

+ Ability to work directly with senior leadership, ownership, and external partners, translating technical analysis into actionable recommendations.
