For 75 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.
We are searching for a Medical Aide to become part of our organization. Responsibilities :
+ Assists directly in the assigned classroom with activities of daily living including feeding, personal care and transition of students.
+ Assist teacher and therapists with carrying out activities designed to address student goals.
Requirements :
+ High School diploma or equivalent, plus successful completion of a minimum of 18 college credits preferred
+ This position will require completion of the teaching assistant certification.
+ The employee must regularly lift and or move individuals - i.e., may be required to lift 50 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance of another staff , and use a mechanical lift device as assigned.

Compensation Range:
$16.63 - $20.81
