Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Site/region strategy and execution of manufacturing finance activities, coordinating planning, pacing, and closing activities. Own P&L and balance sheet activities, including cost accounting, inventory controls (PI, Revals, standards, variances, etc.), product fulfillment and COGS booking, functional costs, P&E, etc.
+ Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries and document business transactions. Prepares monthly and quarterly operational performance reports. In doing so, utilizes discretion and judgment as to matters of significance.
+ Assists the Senior Finance Manager in ensuring there are proper internal controls in place including compliance with company policies and procedures, Sarbanes Oxley and all other statutory requirements.
+ Reconciles balance sheet accounts and statistical data and fully analyses financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
+ Supports Senior Finance Manager in planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve productivity and performance goals,
+ A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
+ Impacts projects, processes, and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment but may require more senior levels of guidance.
+ Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Required Qualifications
+ **Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience).**
+ **2 - 3 years of experience i** **n a financial role**
