    Job Title: Building Maintenance Foreman

    Job Overview:

    As a Gas Station Maintenance Foreman, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the gas station by performing regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections. As Foreman, you will be responsible for scheduling your crew and following up to make sure the maintenance and repairs performed by the technician were accurately and timely accomplished.

     

    You will be tasked with maintaining the facility's equipment, infrastructure, and safety standards to provide a clean, safe, and functional environment for customers and staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1.Maintenance Team Leader:

    •Schedule all work orders optimizing the current maintenance staff

    2.Equipment Maintenance:

    •Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on fuel dispensers, pumps, and other equipment to ensure proper functionality.

    •Perform preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, lighting, signage, and other facility-related equipment.

    •Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions promptly.

    3.Facility Upkeep:

    •Keep the gas station premises clean, organized, and free of debris.

    •Perform minor repairs and coordinate with external contractors for major repairs.

    4.Safety Compliance:

    •Ensure that safety protocols and guidelines are followed at all times.

    •Conduct regular safety checks, including fire extinguisher inspections, emergency exits, and first aid kit replenishment.

    •Address safety concerns promptly and report any issues to the appropriate authorities.

    5.Inventory Management:

    •Keep track of maintenance supplies and order replacements as necessary.

    •Manage inventory for cleaning supplies, tools, and other maintenance-related materials.

    6.Documentation:

    •Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment servicing.

    •Document and report any significant issues or potential improvements to the management.

    Qualifications:

    •High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields is a plus.

    •Previous experience in facility maintenance or a similar role is desirable.

    •Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general construction.

    •Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

    •Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    •Good communication skills to coordinate with other team members and management.

    •Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.

    •Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

     

    Working Conditions: The job may involve working outdoors, exposure to various weather conditions, and occasional exposure to hazardous materials. The maintenance technician may need to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the gas station's operating schedule.
