Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking a PATIENT SERVICE CENTER SCHEDULER to join our NURSING CONTACT CENTER team!
Under the direction of the Supervisor – Workforce Management (WFM), the Scheduler is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing schedules to ensure that staffing levels align with forecasted workload demand across all Patient Service Center (PSC) functions and patient service areas under the Shared Support model.
This position collaborates with the Forecasting Analyst and Real-Time Scheduling Analyst to develop data-driven schedules that balance service-level goals, budget targets, and employee satisfaction.
The Scheduler ensures that the Patient Service Center personnel schedules are accurate, fair, and aligned to operational hours of coverage, directly supporting optimal patient access and service delivery performance.
HOURS: Full Time 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly
Experience/Qualifications
+ Associates’ degree required; Bachelors’ degree preferred or equivalent experience.
+ 1–3 years of experience in Workforce Management or scheduling within a contact center or healthcare environment.
+ Proficiency with WFM platforms.
+ Intermediate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
+ Experience collaborating with Forecasting and Intraday teams to meet service-level goals preferred.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
+ Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent changes.
+ Ability to use independent judgment while following defined processes.
+ Strong understanding of contact center metrics (service level, shrinkage, occupancy, adherence).
+ Proven initiative in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
