    Job Skills / Requirements

    Position Summary

    We are seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to staff a Class A downtown office building. Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, visitors, and property assets through visible patrols, access control, and prompt response to incidents.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Monitor and control access to the building, including visitor and contractor sign-in procedures

    + Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to deter and detect security concerns

    + Observe, report, and document suspicious activity, safety hazards, and incidents

    + Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and tenant requests

    + Enforce building rules, security procedures, and post orders in a professional manner

    + Provide customer service to tenants and visitors while maintaining a security presence

    + Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports

    + Coordinate with property management, emergency services, and on-site staff as needed

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to remain alert and professional for extended periods

    + Strong communication and customer service skills

    + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

    + Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

    + Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

    + Ability to climb stairs and conduct building patrols

    + Ability to lift up to 25 pounds if necessary

    Work Environment

    + Professional downtown office building

    + Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
