Associate Director, Asundexian Marketing
Position Overview:
Bayer is committed to delivering Health for All by advancing a portfolio of innovative treatments. With a passion and determination to develop and commercialize medicines that improve patients’ lives, Bayer is focused on Asundexian, an oral Factor XIa inhibitor (anti-thrombotic), as a potential treatment for secondary stroke prevention in patients who have experienced a non-cardio-embolic ischemic stroke.
As the Associate Director, Marketing for Asundexian, you will lead the development and execution of both disease state awareness and branded marketing initiatives directed toward healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the U.S.
This role requires hands-on execution and tactical excellence, managing key marketing initiatives across personal and non-personal promotional channels, executing omnichannel campaigns, and collaborating effectively across Customer Engagement, Digital, Market Access, Communications, Medical, and Promotional Review partners.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Develop and execute HCP marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with brand goals and physician needs;
+ Lead initiatives to integrate HCP campaign and key messages into field-based assets, training, conferences, advertising, and digital communications;
+ Partner with Digital Strategy teams to implement omnichannel HCP campaigns and messaging;
+ Establish and foster collaborative relationships with external agency partners and internal cross-functional stakeholders at Bayer;
+ Collaborate with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory (PRT) teams to navigate review processes and ensure compliance;
+ Manage project timelines, budgets, and key deliverables aligned to brand goals;
+ Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviors to inform strategy.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
+ Bachelor's Degree required; PharmD or MBA preferred but not required;
+ Minimum of 3 years US pharma and/or healthcare marketing experience required;
+ HCP marketing experience required;
+ Agency or agency management experience required;
+ Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate across US and external functions;
+ Proven results in effectively partnering with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory colleagues to develop high-quality materials;
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $143,280 - $214,920. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
This role is eligible for an enhanced employee referral bonus.
