**Schedule:** 9/80 Work Schedule | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

+ Week 1: 45 hours (5 x 9-hour days)

+ Week 2: 35 hours (3 x 9-hour days + 1 x 8-hour day, every other Friday off) **Pay Rate:** $26.17 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to find a skilled **Welder** who takes pride in craftsmanship and precision. In this role, your work will directly support advanced aerospace manufacturing and R&D efforts, ensuring components meet exacting quality and safety standards. What You’ll Do

As a Welder, you will be a key contributor to both production and prototype work, including:

+ Laying out work requirements and preparing equipment for routine repair and alteration operations

+ Inspecting welds for bead size and compliance with specifications

+ Blending, grinding, and polishing welds to meet minimum wall requirements

+ Collaborating with Engineering on new R&D initiatives and redline drawings

+ Performing prototype welding projects, which may make up to 50% of your workload at times

+ Using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy

+ Interpreting complex prints, drawings, and process sheets; completing and signing work orders

+ Fabricating or restoring parts and tools using standard hand and machine welding techniques

+ Building up machined surfaces and repairing simple cracks or routine imperfections

+ Maintaining equipment, performing routine servicing, and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed

+ Assisting with new process tryouts and specialized assignments

+ Performing physical tasks including bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing

Qualifications You Must Have

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 2+ years of TIG welding experience with stainless steel and steel

+ Welding Certificate Level 1 – GTAW Stainless Steel (required) **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

Qualifications We Prefer

+ Experience in manufacturing or the aviation/aerospace industry

+ Associate’s Degree in Welding

**Pay Details:** $26.17 per hour
