    Summary- Ambulatory Nurse II - Dermatology Medical Imaging Overview:

    + The Ambulatory Nurse II delivers expert, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient dermatology setting, adhering to the highest clinical standards, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with dermatology providers to ensure comprehensive care, including the operation of the Vectra WB360 Total Body Imaging System and other medical imaging technologies for patients requiring longitudinal skin surveillance and targeted dermatologic assessments. The Ambulatory Nurse II operates with a high degree of autonomy, actively contributes to care coordination, and champions initiatives that enhance quality, safety, and clinical practice improvement. Additionally, this role plays a vital part in supporting seamless patient experiences and advancing dermatologic care excellence through precise imaging, documentation, and workflow optimization

    Vectra WB360 and Dermatology Imaging Responsibilities:

    + Operate the Vectra WB360 Total Body Imaging System in accordance with established protocols, performing study imaging per protocol and documenting results accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Be a Vectra super user, supporting other Vectra users in basic operations, answering questions, and providing training. Participate in troubleshooting and documentation efforts.

    + Ensure that all required forms, waivers, and information gathering documents are completed prior to imaging.

    + Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort, privacy, safety, and proper alignment for accurate image acquisition.

    + Explain imaging procedures and complete patient intake, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional, patient-focused manner.

    + Capture 3D and QA whole-body photography images, render, review, and export images. Prepare and encrypt USB drives for patient use.

    + Obtain supplemental photographs in conjunction with Vectra 3D imaging.

    + Assist dermatology providers during full-body skin examinations, including rooming, positioning, education, and workflow support during dermoscopy.

    + Assist with dermatologic procedures and biopsies as needed, including patient preparation, sterile setup, specimen handling, and post-procedure care and education.

    + Ensure accurate image acquisition, perform quality review, and securely transfer study images to designated reading centers or providers as required.

    + Adhere to accurate required documentation in both the Electronic Medical Record and the Vectra patient chart per protocol.

    + Participate in all training sessions as required to refresh or update photography and image capturing skills as necessary.

    + Participate in quality assurance (QA) audits to review image quality, documentation completeness, and adherence to established protocols, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Conduct a comprehensive pre-imaging call with patients prior to their visit to review procedures, answer questions, address concerns, and ensure they are fully prepared for the day of imaging.

    + Coordinate imaging workflows with dermatology providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient care, follow-up, and continuity.

    + Perform routine equipment checks, identify malfunctions or image quality issues, and communicate technical concerns to management and technical support personnel in a timely manner.

    + Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment, supporting a safe, compliant, and efficient clinical environment.

    Credentials/Education:

    + Diploma or ASN from an accredited school of nursing (Required)

    + RN with state licensure- PA (Required)

    + BLS from AHA (Required)

    + Minimum 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience is (Required)

    + BSN from an accredited school of nursing (Preferred)
