The Director, Transformation – Media Segment is a critical role for the segment within NBCUniversal’s finance transformation objective, Project Keystone. This role will support the Media & News business lines, serving as the main point of contact and liaison for the business units from an FP&A and Reporting & Analytics Transformation perspective. This role will partner across Corporate, Media and News Finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, in order to drive excellence in FP&A and Reporting capabilities, leveraging enterprise-wide tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) as a key technology enabler. In this role, you will align with your dedicated business unit leaders and team members on reporting and analytics requirements to ensure business critical inputs are incorporated into future state designs. You will play a key role in driving the evolution of financial reporting forward, with an eye towards streamlining processes, enhancing analytical capabilities, optimizing planning and reporting, and enabling data-driven decision making, with the mission of Fit-to-Standard as a guiding principle. The ideal candidate will understand reporting processes and business rules for Media and/or News, be able to clearly articulate those, and act as a change agent in the business areas.
Responsibilities
+ Provide strategic thinking based on subject matter expertise (SME) for next generation Finance solutions, including master data, implementation, and process design for Media & News.
+ Interface with Media Segment teams, Keystone Teams, business units, matrix teams, System Integrator EY, and O&T to capture & analyze business processes, workflows, policies, tables, objects, master data elements, programs, transactions etc. currently in place in order to:
+ Translate Media needs into Fit-to-Standard design of NBCU Finance wide solutions.
+ Translate Media reporting needs into master data design of SAP S/4 and/or SAP Analytics Cloud solutions for NBCU Finance.
+ Own SAP ECC to S/4 Code Block coordination and mapping related processes across the Segment
+ Challenge the organization to drive standardization in data and process.
+ Participate in workshops and sessions around FP&A process, Reporting and Analytics, business process analysis, process re-engineering, global templates, and value chain analysis.
+ Build Media stakeholder consensus while ensuring understanding of, and agreement to, proposed solutions.
+ Support NBCU Finance change management initiatives within the Media segment to ensure successful adoption of new Finance processes and technologies, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
+ Change agent to Finance transformation, driven by SAP S/4 implementation.
+ Other duties and projects as assigned
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or other relevant area and a minimum of 8 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles.
+ 5+ years experience in the media industry, preferably in Media/News.
+ Solid understanding of Finance processes, methodologies, and best practices, with the ability to drive process improvements and automation.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
+ Change champion with a results-oriented mindset, able to translate business requirements into actionable plans and deliverables.
+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to maintain momentum and drive change.
+ Solution driven and results oriented.
+ Outstanding problem-solving skills within functional and technical areas
+ Ability to represent NBCU with third party implementors with a collaborative mindset.
Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $130,000 - $170,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible).
