• Distribution Utility - 5S 2nd Shift

    Eaton’s EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Distribution Utility - 5S 2nd Shift. Roanoke, VA facility operates under Eaton's Electrical Sector providing products for Data Centers, Commercial Customers, Mining and Food & Beverage.​ The position offers full-time employment of 40 hours and benefits consisting of medical, dental, vision, and retirement accounts (401K).​

     

    The hourly rate for this position is $20.78 per hour. The core hours are 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.

    What you’ll do:

    + Communication with shift lead/coordinator/supervisor

    + Manage trash and recycling

    + Sort and stack pallets

    + Remove stacks of broken pallets from staging areas

    + Indoor/Outdoor work will be required for the organizing of all materials.

    + Operate non-motorized material handling equipment.

    + Clean, mop, sweep aisles and locations as well as pick up trash.

    + Assists with facilities cleaning, and other maintenance duties.

    + Reports and removes safety hazards and obstacles.

    + Operate floor scrubber

    + Other tasks or duties to include production tasks as requested

    + Operate material handling equipment

    Qualifications:

    Basic (Required) Qualifications:

    + Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

    Position Criteria:

    • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

    • Remain standing for an extended period of time up to 10 hours

    • Able to perform with constant movement of the arms
