**Location:** Longwood, FL 32750

**Position:** Mill Machinist

**Schedule:** Friday - Sunday, 6:00AM – 6:00PM ( will be paid for 40)

**Compensation:** Starting at $20.00/hour (based on experience)

About the Role

Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated **Mill Machinist** to join a reputable company located in Longwood, FL. If you have 1-2 years of mill experience and are looking for a weekend opportunity, we encourage you to apply! Programming experience is **not required** .

Key Responsibilities

+ Load and unload raw materials.

+ Use gauges, measuring instruments, and hand/cutting tools to meet tolerance requirements.

+ Reduce set-up and machining time through process improvements.

+ Inspect completed work to specifications using calipers, height gauges, micrometers, rulers, etc.

+ Perform geometry and tool wear offsets.

+ Conduct daily and preventative maintenance on equipment.

+ Assist in organizing and maintaining the Machine Shop's work environment.

+ Follow AS9100 requirements and safety procedures.

+ Train new employees/co-workers as needed.

+ Provide feedback for process improvements.

+ Comply with all quality policies and instructions.

+ Track and record job progress and deficiencies daily (written/electronic).

Qualifications & Requirements

+ 3-5 years of CNC Mill experience.

+ Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints.

+ Skilled in using measuring instruments accurately.

+ Ability to set up and operate lathes and/or mills with minimal supervision.

+ Knowledge of various CNC controls as well as M and G code.

+ Basic math skills for calculations related to machining.

+ Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

+ Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.

+ Physical capability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.
