The Hone Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines within the Hone Cell.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    + Set up machine in accordance with setup matrix and best practice.Understands the different settings and adjustments available on the hone machines.

    + Able to set and adjust hone tooling to achieve quality parts.

    + Understands the basics of statistical process control and the use of control limits.

    + Comfortable using precision gage tools and measuring equipment.

    + Responsible for visually inspecting equipment, complete oil checks, or other inspection methods.

    What We're Looking For

    + High School Education or GED.

    + Must understand dimensional requirements and the importance of producing parts that meet specifications.

    + Must have basic math skills with the ability to calculate clearance in decimals.

    + Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
