+ DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

+ Responsible for implementation of health promotion and wellness services for primary prevention screenings for Morris Hospital employees. Responsible for facilitating wellness and health promotion programs in house and at community events. Will provide valuable resources for wellness and health promotion. Will be involved with the monitoring of programs that are ongoing.

+ QUALIFICATIONS

+ Professional/Educational

+ Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition, Health Promotion, or related field preferred.

+ Fitness certification required (or obtained within first 90 days of employment) and group fitness experience.

+ Knowledge of coaching principals and experience coaching wellness concepts.

+ Personal

+ Knowledge of behavior change theory application and effectiveness of interventions.

+ Must possess a positive work ethic, problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills to deal appropriately in a coaching situation or group settings and adapts to varying age or levels.

+ Demonstrate strong computer skills and problem solving skills with Excel and preparing documents.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
