The **Internal Medicine Program Specialist** maintains the general operations of the Department of Medicine (DOM), as well as specific projects and departmental initiatives. This role supports DOM leadership, including organization of conferences and meetings, physician onboarding, faculty contracting and credentialing, data reporting and other activities as needed.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

+ Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs with 3+ years in an administrative support role (academic medical center setting preferred);

+ Strong skills in Google Office Applications

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high-volume workload

+ Ability to consistently demonstrate initiative, professionalism, poise and flexibility and work within an environment of frequent interruptions, conflicting priorities and varying workloads.

+ Strong analytical and operational skills.

+ Experience with provider credentialing and insurance enrollment is preferred.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

+ Associates Degree.

+ Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting.

Minimum rate of $72,072.00 Annually
