As a System Administrator I, you will ensure that workstations and peripherals operate with optimal availability and reliability.
A caregiver in this role works onsite Monday - Friday, from 8:00AM - 5:00PM and 1:00PM - 10:00PM as needed, and travels to various locations in Northeast Ohio including Beachwood, Main Campus, and Hillcrest.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Clearly and consistently communicates all desktop technology operational directions established for the enterprise.
+ Consults on desktop applications and configurations to improve employee productivity.
+ Troubleshoots software, hardware, protocol and workstations.
+ Provides first and second level diagnostic Help Desk support for hardware, software, operating systems and peripherals.
+ Recommends, designs, builds and supports PC workstations.
+ Builds and maintains detailed workstation documentation including configuration of desktop software and impact of additions, deletions or upgrades to the workstation.
+ Assumes responsibility for on going support requirements of the client area including responsibilities for all hardware components.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Six months of information systems experience supporting small to mid-sized network (5-100)
+ For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of position start date.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Certification(s) in Microsoft desktop operating systems (95/98/NT/2000) preferred.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
+ Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
+ Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
+ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
+ In some locations, ability to move up to 50 lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment:
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $52,270.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $79,727.50
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
