    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab is responsible for all aspects of care related to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments and interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient. Call is a requirement of this position for the Cath Lab. Must be able to respond onsite within 30 minutes of call.

     

    + Effective verbal and written communication skills

    + Sterile technique

    + Administration and knowledge of medications given to the patient under the supervision of the physician

    + Operate physiologic monitoring equipment

    + Operate all equipment related to coronary proceduresFor Cath Lab: IABP, Impella, IVUS, FFR, rotational atherectomy, Temporary pacemaker generator, ISTAT, MedRad injector, Angiojet andmanual thrombectomyFor EP Lab Impella, ICE, Thermacool, Carto, Bovie, CardioLab, Stimulator, temporary pacemaker generator, ISTAT, MedRad injector and

    + Management of blood samples and calculations

    Job Requirements

    Required

    + Vocational School Grad Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, upon hire and

    + Registered Nurse: TN, upon hire and

    + Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and

    + Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days and

    Preferred

    + Bachelors Other in Nursing and Three (3) years of Critical Care or Emergency Nursing experience, upon hire

    + CVRN-I Cardiovascular (ED, Telemetry, and Stepdown), upon hire and

    + Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire and

    + Registered Cardiac Electr, upon hire

    Pay Range

    $33.39 - $47.92 /hour
